Traditionally the “common saying” are considered as short sentences of common use, expressing ideas and beliefs ordinarily accepted.
Contemporary P. comes from the need to stage and exasperate an already veiled reality of common places. A reality largely constituted by a perceptible mixture of these common saying, fractionated and than proposed again as tangible.
I consider this work an inexhaustible “work in progress”, because the only compromise with myself in operating was not doing any accurate research of the subjects to be shot, but just waiting. As if the subjects themselves possessed my shots. The reference that Michel Gondry makes to the “Parallel Synchronized Randomness”, in his movie is not entirely deviant in this speech. I think it is necessary. indeed, understanding this modest but so essential concept in order to assimilate that in reality people is used to reflect themselves in order to make less efforts as possible.
The “Parallel synchronized randomness” is a secret and inscrutable agreement among different minds who unwittingly find themselves doing the same operations.
