Inspired by the video artwork “PANTANO©/PANTONE® — 2008/2018”, the edible artwork explores the color purple as a symbol of challenge and transformation, spirituality, and mystery.
Accessible through the tasting of the edible work, a QR code reveals a fragment of the artist’s video piece. In this project, the video artwork is symbolically incorporated into the dessert — Edible Artwork — served at DitiramboLab in December 2023.
Symbolically, all those who tasted Viola Pantano’s edible artwork acquired a small fragment of the work itself. Proceeds from the sale of the edible artwork were donated to Amnesty International.

Accessibile attraverso l’assaggio dell’opera commestibile, un QR code svela un frammento dell’opera video dell’artista. In questo lavoro l’opera video viene simbolicamente inglobata nel dolce — Opera commestibile — servito presso DitiramboLab nel dicembre 2023.
In modo simbolico, tutti coloro che hanno degustato l’opera commestibile di Viola Pantano hanno acquisito un piccolo frammento dell’opera stessa.
I proventi raccolti dalla vendita dell’opera commestibile sono stati devoluti ad Amnesty International.
