Hereafter, Woman reflects on the condition of the individual within a society shaped by both material and identity-based consumerism, where bodies, behaviours and languages tend to conform to shared models. The work stages the opposite gesture: a liberation from these social masks.

Through the removal of a layer of hair and moustache, the performer enacts a symbolic transformation that suggests a return to an original, pre-social state. Within a black and rarefied space, the body undergoes a process of subtraction and revelation, where identity gradually emerges in its most essential form.

Hereafter, Woman riflette sulla condizione dell’individuo in una società segnata da un consumismo non solo materiale ma anche identitario, in cui corpi, linguaggi e comportamenti tendono a uniformarsi in modelli condivisi. Il lavoro mette in scena un gesto opposto: la liberazione da queste maschere sociali.

Attraverso la rimozione di uno strato di peluria e baffi, la performer compie un processo simbolico di trasformazione che allude a un ritorno a uno stato originario e pre-sociale. In uno spazio nero e rarefatto, il corpo attraversa un percorso di sottrazione e di rivelazione, in cui l’identità emerge progressivamente nella sua dimensione più essenziale.
