For many, “insects” remain a mysterious and indistinct presence — a restless life hidden in the shadows. Within this single word, caterpillars and flies, moths and beetles, along with creatures such as spiders, scorpions, and sometimes even mice or lizards, are often indiscriminately grouped together.

To approach this microcosm requires humility and attention: the willingness to bend toward the ground and observe closely. Only then does the intricate complexity of these small creatures reveal itself.

Within this universe, the caterpillar becomes a symbol of gestation and transformation — a being in the process of becoming. It embodies the awakening of one ready for initiation, representing the passage from the profane to the sacred, from earthly experience toward a celestial dimension.

Per molti, gli “insetti” rappresentano una presenza misteriosa e indistinta — una vita brulicante nascosta tra le ombre. In questa parola vengono spesso raggruppati indistintamente bruchi e mosche, falene e coleotteri, insieme a creature come ragni, scorpioni e talvolta persino topi o lucertole.

Avvicinarsi a questo microcosmo richiede umiltà e attenzione: la capacità di piegarsi verso il suolo e osservare da vicino. Solo attraverso questo gesto si rivela la straordinaria complessità delle piccole creature che abitano il mondo.
