A Mazon originates from a reflection on the ambiguous and inseparable nature of opposites — love and war, creation and destruction, life and death — understood not as opposing forces but as manifestations of the same primordial energy. As in Yin and Yang, what appears to be conflict reveals a dynamic tension that continuously generates and transforms the world.

The work unfolds as a metaphor for a deeper layer of life, shaped by forces that attract and repel one another, nourishing and consuming what exists at the same time. In this sense, A Mazon becomes an image of matter in motion, a field of energy in which opposites merge and continually redefine themselves.

The project was developed with the physical theatre company Ritmi Sotterranei, directed by Alessia Gatta, in collaboration with the sound poet Giovanni Fontana, bringing together performative, corporeal, and vocal languages in a shared exploration of the tension between body, voice, and matter.

A Mazon nasce da una riflessione sulla natura ambigua e inseparabile degli opposti — amore e guerra, creazione e distruzione, vita e morte — intesi non come forze contrapposte ma come manifestazioni di una stessa energia originaria. Come nello Yin e Yang, ciò che appare in conflitto rivela una tensione dinamica che genera e trasforma continuamente il mondo.

Il lavoro si sviluppa come una metafora della vita profonda, attraversata da forze che si attraggono e si respingono, nutrendo e consumando allo stesso tempo ciò che esiste. In questa prospettiva A Mazon diventa un’immagine della materia in movimento, un campo di energia in cui gli opposti si fondono e si ridefiniscono continuamente.

Il progetto è stato realizzato con la compagnia di teatro fisico Ritmi Sotterranei, diretta da Alessia Gatta, in collaborazione con il poeta sonoro Giovanni Fontana, intrecciando linguaggi performativi, corporei e vocali in una ricerca condivisa sulla tensione tra corpo, voce e materia.
