It’s a survey about the reality that disappears, conducted through different techniques, as though they were different points of view. There are two ways to catch the vanishing in the act: speeding it up or fixing the exact moment, that suspended time before it  dissolves, identifying in its excape route the invisible fulcrum which the Inevitable weight on. With this work I want to represent, dramatizing it, just the act of disappearing. I want visualize it in the final frame of an entire story, when it is too late although it’s not already; taking note of how long it is the journey you need to achieve what you no longer need.
The existence always keeps the imprint of its opposite, small details underlined by the dust, camouflaged in the folds of the visible, in that everyday life that finds its virtuous dimension in the ritual of work. Traces hidden in the things, embedded in the frame of which we can only imagine the past and the future
Images taken from true stories, lives really lived, exclusively built-as the photography- with reality: this is the trick. The existing is a constantly obsolete artifact that needs acrobats even just to exist. Looking for clues, we aim at some privileged categories; each one is an hero in his own profession: tailors, carpenters, ropes, printers, paper makers, violin makers, peasants of a land now foreign, excluded from the world itself that have helped to build, Silent Poets of what is no more.

Un’indagine circa la realtà che scompare, condotta attraverso l’adozione di tecniche diverse, quasi fossero punti di vista. Due sono i modi per cogliere lo svanire sul fatto: velocizzarlo o fissarne il momento esatto, quel tempo sospeso che ne precede il dissolversi, individuando nel punto di fuga il fulcro invisibile su cui grava l’inevitabile. Con questo lavoro s’intende rappresentare, sceneggiandolo, proprio l’atto dello sparire, visualizzandolo nel fotogramma conclusivo di un’intera vicenda, quando è troppo tardi pur non essendolo già, prendendo atto di quanto sia lungo il viaggio necessario a raggiungere ciò che non serve più.
L’esistenza serba sempre l’impronta del suo contrario, piccoli dettagli sottolineati dalla polvere, mimetizzati tra le pieghe del visibile, in quella quotidianità che trova la sua dimensione virtuosa proprio nel rituale del lavoro. Tracce nascoste tra le cose, incastrate in quel fermo immagine del quale possiamo solo immaginarne passato e futuro.
Immagini tratte da storie vere, vite realmente vissute, costruite – come la fotografia – esclusivamente con la realtà, questo è il trucco. L’esistente è un manufatto costantemente desueto che necessita di acrobati già soltanto per stare in piedi. Alla ricerca di indizi, prendiamo di mira alcune categorie privilegiate, eroi ciascuno del proprio mestiere: sarti, falegnami, cordai, tipografi, cartari, liutai, contadini di una terra ormai straniera, esclusi dal mondo stesso che hanno contribuito a costruire, muti poeti di ciò che non c’è più.
